Trust Charter
The lines we won't cross.
A public, dated record of how we work — what we'll do, what we won't, and how we hold ourselves to it. Print it. Send it to your attorney. Use it in your vendor packet. We mean every line.
What we won't do.
We won't deploy AI as the final decision-maker on any clinical, legal, hiring, or financial decision affecting your customers or employees. AI is a co-pilot. A human in your business owns the call.
We won't recommend a tool we haven't used. Every product on our recommendation list is one we've deployed on our own work or another client's — at our own cost — before we put your name behind it.
We won't accept paid sponsorships from AI vendors, SaaS companies, or anyone whose tool we might recommend. Vendor relationships are unsponsored. You can ask us to show our work.
We won't take on engagements where we don't believe we can deliver at least 3× the fee in value. If the Fit Call surfaces that we can't, we'll say so on the call and refer you to someone who can.
We won't keep client data on a personal device. Not on a laptop drive, not on iCloud, not on a backup. Client data lives in the encrypted, audited systems described below, and nowhere else.
What we will do.
Every engagement, regardless of tier, includes four governance artifacts: an AI Acceptable-Use Policy, a data classification map, a vendor due-diligence checklist, and a NIST AI Risk Management Framework cross-walk. You own these documents — they're yours whether you continue with us or not.
Every Diagnostic carries the money-back guarantee. If we don't surface ≥3× the Diagnostic fee in annualized opportunity, the Diagnostic fee is refunded in full.
Every Build SOW carries a 30-day kill-switch. You can end the engagement any time in the first 30 days, no questions asked. You pay for work delivered, nothing more.
Every Build SOW carries a written success metric on page 1. Before work starts, we both sign that this is what “done” looks like.
Every recommended tool has been tested by us first. See above.
How we handle your data.
- Encrypted laptops (FileVault, full-disk encryption on by default)
- 1Password Business for credentials. No shared logins, ever.
- Two-factor authentication on every account that touches client data
- No client data persisted on personal devices
- Quarterly access audit — what's in our systems, who can see it, whether it's still needed
- Cyber liability insurance with breach response
Insurance.
| Errors & Omissions (with AI-advisory rider) | $1M per claim |
| General Liability | $1M occurrence / $2M aggregate |
| Cyber Liability (with breach response) | $1M |
| Named insured | Elaren Ventures LLC |
